Day 01: San Jose

Upon arrival at Juan Santamaria International airport, our driver will meet and transfer you to Real Intercontinental Hotel, a five star hotel located 20 minutes from the airport and from San Jose downtown (deluxe room)

Day 02: San Jose /Bocas del Toro

At 6:30 am, departure to Bocas del Toro (Panama) by air transportation. Overnight at Punta Caracol Hotel (suite Caracol), one of the most beautiful hotels in Bocas del Toro. Dinner included.

Day 03: Bocas del Toro/ Tour to Cayo Coral

Breakfast. Tour to Cayo Coral and Bahia Delfines, includes boat transportation, snorkeling and guide. Overnight at Punta Caracol Hotel. Dinner included.

Day 04: Bocas del Toro/ Tour to Bocas del Drago

Breakfast. Tour to Bocas del Drago and Las Estrellas Beach, includes boat transportation and guide. Overnight at Punta Caracol Hotel. Dinner included.

Day 05: Bocas del Toro/San Jose/ Arenal Volcano

Breakfast in the hotel, departure to San Jose Costa Rica by air transportation. Upon arrival, our driver will be waiting for you at the airport to continue to Arenal Area.

The very active Arenal Volcano frequently emits sounds of violent explosions, attended by clouds of gray, brown, and orange gases. Day 06: Arenal Area/ Toro River Rafting

Breakfast. We will pick you up at your hotel. Once we arrive at the verdant banks of the Toro River, our professional guides will instruct you on paddling techniques and safety procedures before you don your helmets, grab you paddles and climb aboard the inflatable rafts for an unforgettable adventure. . Lunch on the way.

Day 07: Arenal Volcano/ Monteverde Cloud Forest

Breakfast. Free morning, we recommend you to visit the hot springs. At afternoon, you will be transferred to Monteverde Cloud Forest, where you may spot birds such as the silvery-throated jay, spangled-checked tanager, black-thighed grosbeak, and the yellow-throated finch. Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, one of the richest and most diverse tropical cloud forests in the world.

Overnight at the lovely Fonda Vela Hotel. On the Hotel property, you will find lush forests and verdant pastures that are excellent for birding and hiking. We maintain over a kilometer of nature trails. In this tranquil setting, you can often see parrots and toucans that come to feed in the wild fruit trees. During certain months, the Fonda Vela is an excellent place to see Resplendent Quetzals and Three-wattled Bellbirds. Two kilometers away is the world famous, 10,500-hectare (26,000 acres) Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. The Fonda Vela Hotel has nine buildings nestled in the beautifully landscaped property. Each is designed with natural lighting, privacy and warmth. All have large windows, with views of our forest, bringing the outside beauty into each luxurious, comfortable and cozy room.

Day 08: Monteverde Cloud Forest

After a delicious early morning breakfast, you will be taken to Selvatura walkways; it’s an unforgettable experience, the excitement of looking to one side and seeing the tops of the trees and at the same time feel the sensation of walking among the clouds. Selvatura walkways is a unique system of suspension bridges that zigzag through deep canyons at the level of the treetops. Then you will experience the canopy tour and observe the cloud forest from a nice perspective. Overnight at Fonda Vela Hotel.

Day 09: Manuel Antonio Beach

Breakfast, departure to Manuel Antonio Beach. Overnight at Arenas del Mar Hotel (ocean view superior room). Arenas del Mar is a beach and nature resort located adjacent to Manuel Antonio National Park on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. "Unique and spectacular beach and nature experiences combined with highest levels of comfort and sustainability in a local Costa Rican setting" define the concept of Arenas del Mar Beach and Nature Resort.

Day 10: Manuel Antonio Beach

Breakfast, free time to enjoy the area, we recommend you to visit Manuel Antonio National Park with your private transportation. At afternoon, the private transportation return to San Jose. Overnight at Arenas del Mar Hotel (ocean view superior room)

Day 11: Manuel Antonio Beach/ Corcovado Area

Breakfast, transfer to the Quepos Airport to take a flight to Drake Bay. Then you will take a boat transportation to Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge. A prime location on the edge of Corcovado National Park, luxury first-class service and food, exciting activities. Spanish colonial-style Bungalows are spread around a garden for maximum privacy, this unique lodge offers accommodations constructed with the highest concern for conservation in harmony with the landscape and the environment. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 12: Corcovado National Park

After a delicious breakfast your adventure begins. Starting out from the lodge with your naturalist guide you journey into Corcovado National Park. The cool morning hours offer a good opportunity to spot wildlife and to observe some of the incredible variety of birds the abound in the park. Lunch and dinner.

Day 13: Corcovado Area/ Caño Island

Breakfast. Offshore lies Caño Island, an ancient Indian burial ground. Picnic on a white sand beach sheltered by coconut palms and snorkel among the coral reefs that surrounds this tropical paradise. There will be time for a hike up to the burial grounds in the interior of the island. Lunch and dinner.

Day 14: Corcovado Area/ San Jose

Breakfast. Domestic flight from Drake Bay to San Jose. Ground transportation from the airport to the hotel. Overnight at Real Intercontinental Hotel.

Day 15: Flight back home

Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

Departure taxes $26,00 per person, in this case you have to pay the departure taxes twice because you will take the air transfer to Bocas del Toro and then the air flight to your home.

Tourism card when you come from Bocas del Toro to Costa Rica is $10 (sometimes they charge this amount, and you have to pay it directly in the border).
