Day 01: Alajuela

Upon arrival at Juan Santamaria airport, you will be transferred to Alajuela city, only 5 minutes away from the International Airport. Overnight at Los Volcanes hotel, which offers the old world ambiance but with modern facilities, the hotel is small and cozy, the house has been refurbished to ensure safety and bring back the true elegance of the 1920´s when that mansion was built. Los Volcanes hotel offers nice rooms with private bathroom, hot water, internet access, local calls.

Day 02: Alajuela/ Arenal Volcano

After breakfast pick a Suzuki Jimny 4X4 up at your hotel. Departure to Arenal Area. The very active Arenal Volcano frequently emits sounds of violent explosions, attended by clouds of gray, brown, and orange gases. Overnight at La Pradera hotel, located 2 km from La Fortuna, on the way to Arenal Volcano, at 5 min from Tabacon and Baldi Hot Springs. Day 03: Arenal Volcano

Breakfast and free day to enjoy the area. We recommend you to visit Arenal Volcano National Park and La Fortuna Waterfall. Overnight at La Pradera hotel .

Day 04: Arenal Volcano/ Samara Beach

After enjoying breakfast, departure to Samara beach. Samara has a super coral reef and its own picturesque wooded island in the bay Isla Chora. It's popular for swimmers and windsurfers, and it's an ideal beach for your kids. In Samara beach you can spend your daytime hours relaxing on the beach, jumping in the waves, reading a book under the shade of the coconut palms or you can entertain yourself with a variety of activities like horseback riding, snorkeling tours, kayaking and much more. Overnight at Giada Hotel, located at Samara's main entrance, on the main street, close to the restaurants, shops and to the beach. It is built and decorated in tropical style. Day 05: Samara Beach

After breakfast you will have the free day to enjoy the beach. Overnight at Giada Hotel.

Day 06: Samara Beach/ Alajuela

Breakfast. Departure to Alajuela. Drop the rental car off at your hotel. Overnight at Los Volcanes Hotel.

Day 07: Alajuela/Home departure

Breakfast and transfer to International Airport for your flight back home.
